Arrival by car (recommended)

A81 coming from the north

• Take exit 6 (Osterburken / Adelsheim / Mosbach / Ravenstein)
• Turn left towards Osterburken / Adelsheim / Mosbach / Schöntal
• After 450m, turn left towards Widdern / Schöntal / Oberkessach
• Follow the main road through Oberkessach
• Follow the main road through Bieringen
• After 2km, Schöntal Monastery is located on the right side

A81 coming from the south

• Take exit 7 (Möckmühl / Schöntal / Jagsthausen / Widdern)
• Turn right
• In Lampoldshausen, turn left towards Schöntal
• In Schöntal, Schöntal Monastery is located on the left side

A6 coming from the west

• At the interchange Weinsberg, change to A81 in direction to Würzburg
• Take exit 7 (Möckmühl / Schöntal / Jagsthausen / Widdern)
• Turn right
• In Lampoldshausen, turn left towards Schöntal
• In Schöntal, Schöntal Monastery is located on the left side

A6 coming from the east

• Take exit 41 (Neuenstein)
• Turn left towards Neuenstein, take 1^st exit of roundabout
• After 450m, turn right onto Friedrichsruher Straße
• After 3.5km, turn right onto state road L1050
• Follow the signs to Sindringen (approx. 7.5 km), then to Schöntal (additional 8.5 km)
• Schöntal Monastery is located on the left side

• Inside the area of Schöntal Monastery, drive through all 3 archways
• Next to the river Jagst
• Behind the Kloster Schöntal area

Arrival by train

• Take train to Möckmühl
• Change to bus line 11 towards Möckmühl-Schöntal (Dörzbach / Krautheim), exit at "Kloster Schöntal"
